PRESCHOOL
The Trinity Lutheran Preschool is an educational program provided by Trinity Lutheran Church for the three-, four-, and five-year-old children of the community. This innovative program in a warm, supportive environment takes the early education experience to a new level.
Grounded in the philosophies of sound educational practices and embedded with the tenets of Christian love and faith, the preschool program prepares children to enter the public or private school kindergartens of the area.
THREE-YEAR-OLD PROGRAM
This program is perfect for three- and four-year-old children to ease into a structured setting through a two day per week, preschool schedule. Our primary goals are providing fun opportunities for socialization and emotional growth, learning through song and play, and practicing school rules and manners. Typical daily activities include story time, sensory and dramatic play, circle time, snack, arts and crafts, and fine motor skill development.
FOUR- AND FIVE-YEAR-OLD
HALF DAY PROGRAM
This program is geared toward four- and five-year-old children and provides a three day per week, structured morning of center-based learning and STEM/STEAM activities. Students rotate weekly between six centers including Discovery (science), Sensory, Math, STEM/STEAM, Literacy/Writing, and Dramatic Play. In addition to centers, typical daily activities include story time, snack, arts and crafts, circle time, and fine motor development; all while being exposed to Christian morals and values.
FOUR- AND FIVE-YEAR-OLD
FULL DAY PROGRAM
This five day per week program provides the ultimate, kindergarten preparation experience for four- and five-year-old children. It includes everything our half-day program offers with additional emphases on science, literacy/sight words, and the fine arts. Students also enjoy lunch and a “brain break” rest time to re-energize them for the second half of the day.
We offer a two-year, academic plan for families who decide to wait for their child to begin school until age six. While similar themes may be addressed, learning opportunities, activities, and projects are not repeated. This allows students to grow to their full social, emotional, and/or academic potential before enrolling in kindergarten in a public system or private setting.

We use the REMIND app for all cancellations, delays, and early dismissals. We strongly urge all families to join REMIND via the app and enter Trinity Lutheran Preschool's code to receive updates, reminders, information, as well as, cancellations, delays, and early dismissals.
The Preschool staff holds Open Houses twice a year so you and your littles can visit and see what the program has to offer. Check the calendar for dates and times or contact the Preschool Director for more information.
