  Finance

The finance Sub-Committee of the Support Ministry Team reviews the financial condition of the Congregation and makes recommendations to Congregation Council regarding contributions and expenses. The primary tool used by the Finance Committee is the Annual Budget. Contributions are estimated based on member pledges. Expenses are planned based on historical data and spending requests from each of the Church's standing committees. After the information is accumulated, the budget is presented for approval by the Congregation Council and the Congregation. Monthly reports are provided to Congregation Council by the financial secretary detailing monthly spending, relationship of expenses to plan, and account balances. The committee also oversees an annual audit of the Church's finances, examining all receipts, expenses and accounts. The results of the annual audit are provided to the Congregation Council.
